A business coach can help small business owners in a number of ways. Depending on the size of the business, owners often feel isolated with no one to talk to or run ideas by. Often times business owners start a business because they are good at the technical part or their business.
Being good at framing houses, pouring concrete or manufacturing widgets does not make one a good business owner. There are many other aspects to running a business including accounting, managing cash flow, managing employees, getting new business, dealing with customers, etc, etc, etc. Small business owners can become overwhelmed by wearing too many hats. All of a sudden the business isn’t fun anymore and owners find that they have to do everything and work far too many hours.
A business coach can take a broad, objective look at your business and help you build an organizational structure that will take the pressure off and allow you to have a business and a life too. Having a staff that knows what to do and how to do it. Learning to delegate with predictability. Learning what positions need to be established and how to hire the right people.
Organizing your business is critical to your success as well as your sanity. Don’t over look getting the help that you need. Even the Fortune 500 companies employ the services of business coaches and consultants.
